Geraldine Hughes received the Los Angeles Ovation, Garland and Drama Critics Circle Awards and a Drama League Award Nomination for Outstanding Performance for her solo play Belfast Blues, which she also wrote. Geraldine’s stage credits include the West End production of Jerusalem opposite Tony award winner Mark Rylance after performing in the Broadway production.  Other theatre credits include: Cyrano De Bergerac opposite Douglas Hodge (Broadway), Translations (Broadway), Molly Sweeney (Irish Repertory Theatre), Pumpgirl (MTC), Orson’s ShadowThe Cripple of InishmaanThe WeirThe Architect.  Television credits include: “The Blacklist,” “Blue Bloods,” “Nurse Jackie,” “Mercy,” “The Good Wife,” “Law and Order CI,” “Law & Order SVU,” “Law & Order,” “Murder, She Wrote: The Celtic Riddle,” “ER.”  She has starred in several features including Warner Bros’ Gran Torino,  MGM’s Rocky Balboa and Dead Souls for Chiller Network. She appeared in National Geographic’s Killing Lincoln opposite Billy Campbell and narrated by Tom Hanks. Geraldine received an honorary doctorate from Queens University, Belfast for her contribution to the arts.
