Bio
Stephen Lang has performed his solo play, BEYOND GLORY, all over the world, for both civilian and military audiences. The play has been honored with Helen Hayes, Joseph Jefferson, and Lucille Lortel Award nominations, as well as receiving the Chairman’s Medal for Distinguished Service from the NEA, and the Bob Hope Award from the Congressional Medal of Honor Society. The film of BEYOND GLORY will be released in 2016. Lang’s career in the theatre includes NYC productions of DEATH OF A SALESMAN, A FEW GOOD MEN, WAIT UNTIL DARK, HAMLET, DEFIANCE, THE GUYS, 36 VIEWS, and a Tony nominated performance in THE SPEED OF DARKNESS. His many films include LAST EXIT TO BROOKLYN, GODS AND GENERALS, TOMBSTONE, GETTYSBURG, CHRISTINA, PUBLIC ENEMIES, BAND OF ROBBERS, and A MAN IN THE DARK. He is currently at work on three sequels to James Cameron’s ground-breaking blockbuster, AVATAR, in which Lang revisits his role as Colonel Miles Quaritch.
