R.J. has been co-Artistic Director of EST’s Youngblood program for young playwrights since 2003 and is an ensemble artist of EST.  Recent Youngblood credits: MOPE by Paul Cameron Hardy, Five Times in One Night by Chiara Atik, Sweet Forgotten Flavor by Patrick Link. EST Marathon: Hate the Loser Inside by Jon Kern, Two from the Lineby Michael Wells, Christmas Present by Amy Herzog; Not All Korean Girls Can Fly by Lloyd Suh. Shows and workshops at The Brick, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Cherry Lane Alternative; co-directed the 2000 Off-Broadway revival of Godspell.  R.J. lives in Brooklyn with his wife Lisa and their sons, Max and Charlie.
