Bio
Paul Thureen is a founder and co-Artistic Director of Obie Award winning theater company The Debate Society, co-writing and starring in all nine of the company’s plays, including THE LIGHT YEARS, JACUZZI, BLOOD PLAY (Obie Award – Acting), BUDDY COP 2 and CAPE DISAPPOINTMENT. Other NYC performances include Annie Baker’s UNCLE VANYA (Soho Rep), Jenny Schwartz’s 41-DERFUL (Clubbed Thumb) and Steven Levenson’s CORE VALUES (Ars Nova). TV: “The Late Show with David Letterman”. Paul is a Sundance Institute Fellow and a proud faculty member of the National Theater Institute.
