Bio

Lee Wilkof has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theater, television, and film for six decades. He originated the roles of Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Sam Byck in Assassins, and has appeared in ten Broadway shows. He directed the film No Pay, Nudity, and just completed co-directing the short film Teenage Waistband, which he also wrote and appeared in.

Film and television appearances include The Grey Zone; Private Parts; School Of Rock; This Boy’s Life; “The West Wing”; “Hart To Hart”; “Law & Order” (eight appearances); “Ally McBeal”; “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”; and “The Gong Show”. He is the recipient of an Obie Award; a Grammy Award (Champion at The Metropolitan Opera); and a SAG Award. He has been nominated for a Tony Award (Kiss Me Kate) and three Drama Desk Awards.
