Bio

Kate Jennings Grant has worked extensively in theatre, TV and film alike.  On Broadway, she recently appeared in The Lyons with Linda Lavin, and starred as Sarah Brown in the most recent revival of Guys and Dolls opposite Lauren Graham and Oliver Platt.  Other Broadway credits include Proof with Anne Heche and Neil Patrick Harris,  and Wendy Wasserstein’s An American Daughter.  Her extensive off-Broadway credits include the title role of Bette in the revival of Christopher Durang’s The Marriage of Bette and Boo at the Roundabout Theatre.  On film, Kate appeared alongside Jake Gyllenhall in Love And Other Drugs,  and starred opposite Catherine Zeta Jones in the feature film The Rebound.  Ron Howard cast her as  “Diane Sawyer” in his Academy Award-nominated Frost/Nixon, and she had a dramatic turn as passenger Lauren Grandcolas in Paul Greengrass’ critically-acclaimed film United 93.  Kate has appeared on numerous television shows including “Pan Am,” “Damages,” “Rescue Me,” “White Collar,” and “The Carrie Diaries.”  Kate is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Drama, where she first met and worked with playwright Christopher Durang.
