Jodi is a veteran actress of Broadway, film and television, Jodi won the 2002 Ovation Award for her performance in Flower Drum Song at The Mark Taper Forum, which subsequently moved to Broadway. Other Broadway: Nowhere To Go But Up, Loose Ends, The Bacchae, and Stephen Sondheim’s Getting Away With Murder. TV Series Regular: “Miss Match,” “All American Girl” (as Margaret Cho’s mother), “Café American” and the upcoming “Sullivan and Son” on TBS. Film:Beginners, The Hot Chick, Patty Hearst, Sour Sweet. . In 2006 her one woman play, Surfing DNA, garnered her an Ovation Nomination for Best Solo Performance. She also wrote and produced Long Story Short, a documentary about her vaudevillian parents, which won numerous film festival awards.
