Bio

J.Alphonse Nicholson is an American born actor/ percussionist. He emerged in North Carolina after his debut as the lead in Howard L. Craft's "Caleb Calypso and the Midnight Marauders" in 2009. Nicholson since then, with a few films/tv shows and several plays under his belt, has received national recognition for his work in theaters around the country. Most recent theatre credit includes SOLDIER’S PLAY (Broadway) Second Stage’s DAYS OF RAGE and Signature Theatre’s PARADISE BLUE (Blue). Other credits: OFF-Broadway: "FREIGHT" (NFT).
