Bio
Geoffrey Cantor graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a degree in theater, and trained at both the National Theater Institute in Connecticut, and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in London, England. Film credits include Bird People (recently at Cannes and the Toronto Film Festival) MIB3, Thanks for Sharing, Man on a Ledge, Doug Liman’s Fair Game,and Michael Mann’s Public Enemies. On TV, he has been seen in The Blacklist, Believe, The Americans, The Following, House of Cards, Person of Interest, Damages, Smash, The Big C, Sopranos, Bored to Death, all of the Law & Order’s (Thank you Mr. Leight), and an upcoming (as yet unnamed) Netflix show. His Stage work includes Broadway, off-Broadway and Regional theater, where he has been seen in Side Man, Dinner With Friends, Julie Taymor’s Titus Andronicus, Talley’s Folly, Romeo and Juliet, and Lone Star (London and Edinburgh, Scotland). He has also been involved with a number of Web-series including Candice Bushnell’s The Broadroom, and the soon to be released Karl Manhair-Postal Inspector. Geoffrey also works as a director, coach, and acting teacher. He currently lives in New Jersey with Cat, his wife of 22 years, and is the father of two amazing young adults, his artist son, Ben, and his environmental activist daughter, Talia.
