Caitriona is from Donegal and currently divides her time between London, Dublin, Derry and New York. She facilitated the inauguration of the Royal Court, Theatre Local Project and was awarded a Clore Fellowship in 2007. Caitriona has also taught at a number of drama schools including East 15, London and The Lir Dublin, and has been invited several times as a director/dramaturge to LAByrinth Theatre Company’s Summer Intensive in New York.

She has worked extensively on new writing, recent work includes Want Beef? (Abbey Theatre, Dublin). Work with Judith Weir and Spark Opera Belfast on the development of 2 new operas for young people.
