Andy Reynolds

Bio

Andy Reynolds has had work presented at various theaters throughout the Northeast. The Memory of Mollusks was a finalist for the 2012 Eugene O’Neill National Theater Conference, the 2014 NEWvember New Play Festival and Route 66 Theatre’s 2015-16 Test Drive New Play Development Workshop. Dark Hole was a finalist for the 2013 Hidden River Arts Playwriting Award and a semi-finalist for the 2013 O’Neill Conference. Eucatastrophe won the 2009 New Playwrights, New Plays Competition and Kaplan Prize. Press On was recently workshopped with the Writer’s Group at the Berkshire Playwrights Lab. His short plays include Haunted and The Sick Room. A Menagerie of Sorts was selected for inclusion in the 2006 Tennessee Williams Festival, Retreat was produced at the Provincetown Theater, and A Visit with a Nightingale was commissioned by the Payomet Performing Arts Center. He wrote the book for the revue All Girl Band, performed at the Triad Theater as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The Sordid Perils of Actual Existence, a collaboration with writer/director Tom Gladwell, was produced at Theater for the New City in 2007. Like You Care, collaboration with the theater collective Motherlode, was performed at the Ontological- Hysteric Theater. Andy currently lives in the Berkshires, where he is a professional fundraiser and grant writer.
