Sarah Sokolovic has appeared on Showtime’s “Homeland,” for which she was nominated for a SAG award, along with the ensemble, as well as HBO’s “Big Little Lies.” She appeared in the critically acclaimed Detroit at Playwrights Horizons. In 2011 she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for her role as Betty in The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World (also at Playwrights Horizons) Broadway: Relatively Speaking (Brooks Atkinson) She has acted in over 70 plays in regional theatre: Bash, Danny and The Deep Blue Sea, Killer Joe (Bialystock and Bloom) Cymbeline, Othello (Milwaukee Shakespeare) Beach Blanket Bash, Translations, A Month in The Country (Milwaukee Repertory Theatre) Homebody/Kabul, Under Milk Wood (Chamber Theatre) Television: “Unforgettable,” “The Good Wife” (CBS) Film: Omphalos, The Eye of Winter. She graduated from the Yale School of Drama in 2011, and is a recipient of the Jerome L Greene Scholarship for Acting. When she is not acting, she plays around with the guitar, writes, and holds the proud title of “Auntie.”
