An Obie Award winning and Drama Desk nominated actress, Ms. Kurtz’s most recent stage appearance was in Lauren Yee’s – The Hatmaker’s Wife. Other stage credits include, Charles Busch’s Olive and the Bitter Herbs, Martin Sherman’s When She Danced; Donald Margulies’ The Loman Family Picnic and Joe Chaikin’s The Dybbuk. Her film credits include: Tower Heist, Inside Man, Requiem For A Dream, In Her Shoes, One True Thing, Big Fan, Arranged, Panic In Needle Park and Dog Day Afternoon.
Her most recent guest starring TV appearances include “Blue Bloods,” “Odd Mom Out,” and “Recount.” As an actress on Playing On Air she recorded Sheri Wilner’s The Miracle of Chanukah.
She was a company member of Joe Chaikin’s Open Theatre, Jerome Robbins’ American Theatre Lab, and Peter Brook’s C.I.R.T. She is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre and Lincoln Center Directors Lab. She holds a B.S. degree in Dance from The Juilliard School.
